#MeTooMpls || A Benefit for Planned Parenthood
In late December, I was invited to take part in a project with focus on the #MeToo movement and a benefit for Planned Parenthood. Sparked and created by local songwriter Mischa Suemnig, the project consists of 17 female artists from the Twin Cities and each of us were asked to write and record a song based on the movement. In addition to songwriters, the project includes several recording engineers, producers and PR and is graciously sponsored by The Women's March, The Current and Copycat Hi-Fi Media. Everyone taking part in this project is extremely talented and I am very honored to be listed among them all.
Our virtual cd release is September 24th from 7-10pm and there will be a live simulcast through the Hook and Ladder. Your purchase of ticket to the show includes a downloaded copy of the album and all proceeds go to Planned Parenthood!!

For whatever reason, we are still struggling to achieve a society where women are given the same respect as men. Misogynistic views and behaviors are often dismissed, accepted or even expected. Planned Parenthood is an important platform that tirelessly provides education, medical assistance, resources and safety. By supporting Planned Parenthood, we amplify opportunities for us all.
